Presented for the first time at this year´s Light + Building, the new adapter ring expands Bender + Wirth´s portfolio. By using the adapter, bayonet optics can be combined with the 430 series COB holders easily and cost-effective.

The presented version is compatible with several optics thanks to one inner and one outer connection for bayonet systems. The dimensions were specifically chosen in order to replace common plastic holders one to one.

The well proven holders of the series 430 form the interface to the COB and the heatsink, providing unequalled variety in terms of connectivity. Unlike common thermoplastic holders, the holders from Bender + Wirth stay dimensionally stable even at high temperatures. Thus, they help to prevent premature LED-failure because of insufficient cooling.

The connection of bayonet optics can still be realized without an adapter, if a very low profile of the holder is important for the fixture design.
